Critical Conditions

When an audible alarm or flashing strobe light is present, leave the building:

Remain calm
Alert others in the area of need to relocate or evacuate
Listen for instructions from overhead announcement
Move out of the immediate area
Leave the building through the closest exit
Do not use the elevator
Once outside the building move to your assigned meeting place: From the front door of the suite move down the main corridor stairwell #3 out the front of the building; leaving out the back door of the suite down stairwell #5 to the parking lot on the right
Account for all patients, parents, visitors, and staff

Suggested evacuation priority: ambulatory, assisted, then dependent
Report any missing person to Grayslake Fire Department
Wait for instructions from the Grayslake Fire Department and/or Hospital Designee before re-entry.
