INITIAL RESPONSE

When you see fire, smoke or something burning:

• R - Remove individuals from danger
• A - Activate the fire pull station/Press the EMERG soft key or call 911 (Pull station located by the nearest exit)
• A - Activate the fire pull station/Press the EMERG soft key or call 911 (Pull station located by the nearest exit)
• C - Close all doors
• E - Evacuate the area

& FOLLOW UP

To extinguish a small fire, locate the ABC fire extinguisher (found in main hallway and by pull station):

• P - Pull the pin
• A - Aim the nozzle at base of fire
• S - Squeeze the handles together
• S - Sweep from side to side

ABC fire extinguisher is used for all types of fires
