INITIAL RESPONSE

When an elevator alarm sounds, is not responding, or is erratic:

  • Remain calm
  • Do not use the elevator
  • Call Building Management (630) 561-6471
  • Call Building Management (630) 561-6471

 

SECONDARY RESPONSE

& FOLLOW UP

    When trapped on an elevator:

  • Remain calm
  • Use the alarm button inside the elevator to contact Building Management
  • Stay in the elevator
  • Do not climb to the floor above
  • Do not jump to the floor below
  • Do not try to pry the elevator doors open
  • Listen for directions and wait for help to arrive
  • Call Building Management after the incident (630) 561-6471
