INITIAL RESPONSE

When severe weather causes high water and flooding problems

  • Remain calm
  • Alert staff and families of flood conditions
  • Listen for weather and road condition updates
  • Notify personnel to remain on duty until released by your manager
  • Call and update AC 74112.
  • Call and update AC (312) 227-4112

 

SECONDARY RESPONSE

& FOLLOW UP

If it becomes necessary to evacuate the building,

  • Remain calm
  • Alert others in the area
  • Listen for directions from Northbrook Fire Department
  • Refer to the EVACUATION procedure as needed
  •  

  • When high water and flooding conditions improve
    • Return to normal operations
    • Call your manager
