INITIAL RESPONSE

When you witness an infant or child being removed from the area by a stranger or when an infant or child is missing from thefacility:

  • Call 911 and your immediate manager
  • Call 911 and your immediate manager
  • Close off the area
  • Do not allow anyone into the area/room unless directed by Evanston Police Department

 

SECONDARY RESPONSE

  • Evanston Police conducts search of interior/exterior of facility
  • Complete Safety Event Report
  • Call and update Lurie Children's Security 312-227-7777
