INITIAL RESPONSE

When you see fire, smoke or something burning:

• R - Remove individuals from danger
• A - Activate the fire pull station/Call 911
• A - Activate the fire pull station/Call 911
• C - Close all doors
• E - Evacuate the area

If you hear the fire alarm, leave the building

If you see smoke, see fire, pull fire alarm, leave the building

SECONDARY RESPONSE

To extinguish a small fire, locate the ABC fire extinguisher:

(found in main hallway and by pull station):

• P - Pull the pin
• A - Aim the nozzle at base of fire
• S - Squeeze the handles together
• S - Sweep from side to side

ABC fire extinguisher is used for all types of fires
