INITIAL RESPONSE

When a threat is received by phone:

• Keep the person talking and obtain information (i.e., where is it, when it will go off, what does it look like, background noise etc.)
• Press the EMERG soft key or call 911
• Press the EMERG soft key or call 911
• Call Security
• Call your immediate manager
• Wait for directions from Glenview Police Department

• Press the EMERG soft key or call 911
• Press the EMERG soft key or call 911
• Call Security
• Call your immediate manager
• Wait for directions from Glenview Police Department

SECONDARY RESPONSE

• If asked, search the area for suspicious packages, boxes, or containers
• Report any suspicious boxes, packages, etc. to Glenview Police
• DO NOT TOUCH any suspicious items
• Complete Safety Event Report
