INITIAL RESPONSE

When an emergency (disaster) event affects the hospital then:

  • Complete your tasks
  • Report to your immediate manager for further instruction.
  • Wait for your immediate manager to provide direction as information becomes available.

 

SECONDARY RESPONSE

& FOLLOW UP

  • Remain at home, if off duty, unless you are called by your department.
  • If called to report for duty, show your Lurie ID badge to any law enforcement agency if requested
  • Return to normal operations upon an “All Clear” announcement from your immediate manager
