INITIAL RESPONSE

When you experience immediate loss of oxygen, medical air system failure, and/or medical vacuum system failure::

  • Hand ventilate patients until portable oxygen tanks are available
  • Use portable medical air tank or portable vacuum pump until system is back to normal
  • Complete procedures as soon as possible and cancel future surgeries until system is restored
