INITIAL RESPONSE

When an injury or illness is caused by work and occurs while performing work:

• Perform First-aid to stop bleeding, cleanse an area or cover a wound
• Report to manager and Almost Home Kids Operations Director and seek care
• Emergency conditions: call 911
• Emergency conditions: call 911
• Non-emergency conditions: go to Corporate Health as directed by your manager

& FOLLOW UP

• Follow the “Work Related Injury or Illness Policy” found on the Portal
• Complete Safety Event Report
• Complete Employee Incident and Supervisor Incident Reports
