INITIAL RESPONSE
Personal safety is about risk reduction, using good common sense and trusting your instincts:
- Hit panic button or call 911, and call Almost Home Kids

& FOLLOW UP
- Do not open entrance doors to let strangers or those without proper identification enter the building
- Wear ID Badge and be observant of those without an identification badge
- Do not leave valuables such as laptops, purses, wallets, smartphones, or tablets unattended
- Keep personal items in a secure location
- Avoid walking alone at night unless absolutely necessary
- Avoid shortcuts and dark, isolated areas
