INITIAL RESPONSE

When an evacuation is necessary from the building:

Remain calm

Alert others in the area of need to relocate or evacuate

Move out of the immediate area

Leave the building through the northwest exit

Once outside, turn left. Walk down the Washburne sidewalk. Move to the far end of the parking lot by the purple CCAC sign.

Account for all patients, parents, visitors, and staff

Wait for direction from CCAC staff

 

SECONDARY RESPONSE

• Suggested evacuation priority: ambulatory, assisted, then dependent
• Report any missing person to CCAC staff
• Wait for instructions from CCAC staff before re-entry.
• Do not use the elevator.
