INITIAL RESPONSE

When an elevator/escalator is not responding, is erratic or the alarm is sounding:

  • Contact Facility Services 74098 and give location
  • Contact Facility Services (312) 227-4098 and give location
  • Avoid use until Facility Services corrects the situation

 

SECONDARY RESPONSE

& FOLLOW UP

    If trapped on elevator:

  • Remain calm
  • Use the phone inside the elevator to contact Facility Services
  • Listen for directions

    •  

    If an escalator stops, move to safe area if able or stay in place until help arrives.

  • Remain Calm
  • Contact Facility Services 74098 and then call Security 77777
  • Contact Facility Services (312) 227-4098 and then call Security (312) 227-7777
  • Listen for direction
