INITIAL RESPONSE

When you experience loss of oxygen, medical air, and/or medical vacuum:

  • Contact Facility Services 74098 and give location
  • Contact Facility Services (312) 227-4098 and give location
  • Facility Services will address the situation and determine appropriate next steps
  • Contact Administrator Coordinator 74112 to inform them of the situation
  • Contact Administrator Coordinator (312) 227-4112 to inform them of the situation
  •  

    SECONDARY RESPONSE

    & FOLLOW UP

    If the situation deteriorates to a level of immediate danger take action:

    • Hand ventilate patients until portable oxygen tanks are available
    • Use portable medical air tank until system is back to normal
    • Use portable vacuum pump until system is back to normal
