INITIAL RESPONSE

When you hear an overhead announcement stating “Attention: Soft Lockdown in effect. Only use Superior Street doors to enter or exit the hospital.” (This will be repeated 3 times) Staff Will:

  • Continue patient care as normal unless otherwise directed
  • Prepare for potential escalation to hard lockdown (If needed)
  • Stay informed via internal communications (Overhead, Everbridge, Email alerts)

 

SECONDARY RESPONSE

& FOLLOW UP

  • Security is actively monitoring the situation and will provide additional guidance or an “all clear” when details are available.
